RECOMMENDED USES	"A light and supple" tie for young vines up to 3 years (green wood), without any weight of grapes, fragile plants (i.e. tomatoes, berries,...) in annual pruning.	A tie for vines of 3 seasons or older, (canes or trunks) with weight of full grape crop (i.e. Guyot, Cordons, Arcure,....), as well as for young fruit trees, annually pruned.	Strong tie for vineyards with mature vines, or a heavy crop of grapes. Also for annually pruned fruit trees. Prothec System rack-type pliers are the essential tool for use with the spools of Prothec System ties, saving you time and ensuring perfect and easily-adjustable tying.

Easy to use, hard-wearing and time-saving, the Prothec rack-type pliers tie and cut simultaneously.

1 - Tie once or twice around the cane and the wire depending on the

hold required.

2 - Grasping both strands with one hand, position them in the hook, holding the scissor blades at a distance of about 2 cm from the cane.

3 - Bring the two strands down between the scissor blades.

4 - Squeeze the pliers closed to knot and cut the tie. Then, keeping the pliers squeezed together, detach the hook from the knotted tie.
